FBLA Collegiate invites FBLA members from all divisions to join the Holiday Coffee Chat! Join us to celebrate the holidays and your progress this year. We're proud of you all and so excited to see you next week. Grab your favorite holiday drink, throw on your most festive sweater, and join us for games, prizes, networking, and more!
Madison Kraemer
President
FBLA Collegiate National Officer Team
Madison Kraemer is a senior at the University of Northern Iowa, majoring in organizational leadership and marketing with an emphasis in advertising and digital media, along with a minor in ethics.
Madison has been a member of FBLA since 2016 and has held various leadership positions throughout her time in the organization. Currently, she is serving her second term as president of the Northern Iowa chapter and first term as the Iowa FBLA Collegiate State Vice President. In previous years, she also had the privilege of serving as the Iowa FBLA Collegiate State President and National Parliamentarian. Madison also received the ACTE Outstanding Student Business Education Award for her work in FBLA.
Outside of being a member of the organization, Madison keeps busy with class, working as a peer mentor in the college of business at her university, interning as a marketing specialist, and serving on the executive board of her local chapter of the American Marketing Association.
Madison aims to give back to students through FBLA and help them move forward with their goals and aspirations as rising business professionals. She is so excited to be spending her final year in college and FBLA with the amazing individuals within our organization!
Madelaine Benowitz
Executive Vice President
FBLA Collegiate National Officer Team
Madelaine Benowitz is a rising junior at Rider University majoring in Education. She graduated with her Associate's Degree from Mercer County Community College and transferred to Rider University this fall.
For the 2021-22 membership year, Madelaine served as the New Jersey FBLA Collegiate State President and National Vice President of Membership. While in FBLA Collegiate, she was awarded the following honors at the New Jersey FBLA Collegiate State Leadership Conference: first place in Public Speaking, first place in Personal Finance, third place in Retail Management, and first place in Who’s Who in New Jersey FBLA Collegiate. She also placed third nationally in Public Speaking at the 2021 National Leadership Conference. On the National level, Maddie served as co-chair for both the Social Media Ambassadors and the Direct Membership Committee. Also, she was awarded the ACTE - Outstanding Business Education Student Award Post-Secondary, Region 1 winner two years in a row. Furthermore, she was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society and served as her chapter’s President.
Maddie’s journey within FBLA began in the womb, as she attended conferences before her birth and continued throughout her entire childhood. Her official FBLA involvement started when she chartered an FBLA chapter at her high school and ultimately served as Local Chapter President and as the New Jersey FBLA Central Region Vice President her senior year. She attended and competed in several conferences including: State Leadership Conference, National Leadership Conference, Institute for Leaders, State Leadership Experience, and the National Leadership Experience.
Maddie is excited to further her FBLA journey and help create long lasting impacts on the organization this year! She looks forward to speaking with members throughout our nation to further discuss ideas and initiatives to continue to serve you in our wonderful organization.
Toby Neal
Parliamentarian

Toby is in his second year at Stanly Community College in Albemarl, North Carolina, where he is majoring in History and Political Science and serves at the local chapter president. Toby is incredibly passionate about history and politics and has plans to pursue teaching and serving in public office in the future. When he is not in school or doing FBLA work, Toby enjoys hanging out with friends, watching movies, and spending time outdoors. One of Toby’s biggest goals with FBLA Collegiate is to showcase how the organization is not just for traditional business students, but for all students who are looking to grow their leadership and professional development and prepare themselves to face the challenges this world offers.
“If I had to say just one thing about FBLA, it would be that it is for everyone, and I want to see everyone shine and succeed in their professional and academic journey, and I believe FBLA Collegiate is the place to do that!”

James Hulce
Vice President of Financial Development

James Hulce is an inventive senior at Thomas Edison State University studying Business Administration and Cybersecurity. With this combination of perspectives, he hopes to bridge the gap between enterprise operations and digital systems, empowering businesses with processes built on secure technology. After graduating, James plans to pursue a career in telecommunications infrastructure development.
His long and distinguished history of involvement in FBLA began at the high school level, where national competitive event successes led him to seek a future in networking and information technology. In college, James began learning online at Arizona State and joined the Wisconsin FBLA Collegiate Virtual Chapter to continue his FBLA journey. Seizing the opportunity to fill leadership roles, he served as the 2021-2022 Wisconsin FBLA Collegiate State VP and was a National Direct Membership Committee member. At the 2022 National Leadership Conference, he was selected as the FBLA Collegiate Distinguished Business Leader, in addition to winning three competitive events.
Outside of FBLA, James enjoys fighting robocallers, working on internet routing security policy, and exploring the outdoors with his partner. He is also a Youth Lived Experience Partner at the Wisconsin Office of Children's Mental Health, where he aims to prevent suicide amongst LGBTQ+ youth and improve social connectedness.
Shanna Shakespear
Vice President of Communication

Shanna Shakespear is a productive junior at Ensign College studying communications and marketing. She loves learning new skills and engaging with other business club members when she isn’t attending meetings as the local FBLA Collegiate president. She has promoted her chapter immensely in a continuous effort to bring FBLA to life at Ensign.
Shanna has been a part of FBLA for more than five years and has achieved great success, qualifying for nationals every year she has competed.
Most recently, Shanna served on the FBLA Collegiate National Social Media Ambassador team as a graphic designer and began networking nationally with other FBLA members. From there, she began participating in FBLA Collegiate's weekly “Coffee Chats” and completing FBLA Excellence Awards.
In her free time, Shanna loves learning skills such as photography, organ, piano, graphic design, and pickleball. She loves to be around others and enjoys happy people who can laugh with her. She likes to be outside and enjoys fishing, hiking, adventuring, traveling, and camping.
Kimberly Speece
Vice President of Membership

Kimberly Speece is a junior at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania where she is majoring in Business Education. She has been actively involved in FBLA since 2016. During her senior year of high school, she served as the PA FBLA High School State Treasurer. She now serves as the Vice President of her FBLA Collegiate chapter and is excited to serve as your FBLA Collegiate National Vice President of Membership.
Outside of FBLA, Kimberly is a peer mentor to first-year military and veteran students and is a member of the Bloomsburg University Student Veterans Association. Additionally, she is a proud soldier in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, where she serves as a Human Resources Specialist.
After graduating, Kimberly plans on teaching high school business and being an FBLA adviser at her alma mater, Cedar Crest High School.
Aarav Dagar
President
FBLA High School National Officer Team
Aarav Dagar is a Senior at Strawberry Crest High School and an avid lover of all things adventure-related. He embarked on his own FBLA adventure in 7th grade and since then has flourished in the organization. As a 5-year member, Aarav finds his fuel in serving and helping others embark on their own journeys with personal development, whether they live one mile away or a thousand. As a National Officer, 2-time National Council member, 2-time Florida FBLA State Officer, 2-time District 8 Officer, and 6-time Chapter Officer, Aarav has experience doing just that: driving others to success.
Outside of FBLA, Aarav serves his school as the Assistant Coach of Speech and Debate and President of Strawberry Crest High School’s biggest fundraiser, Chargerthon. His extensive experience with leadership both inside and outside this organization, combined with his passion for FBLA, makes him well-suited to guide others on their own journeys to success. This coming year, he envisions an organization characterized by its accessibility and opportunities and will do everything he can to implement both.
